Eric was born in Kansas City, Missouri in 1967 and soon was relocated to Arizona. At the age of 13 he obtained his first Sears and Roebuck guitar and amp. Influenced by anything he could get his hands on, Eric developed a sound that would soon become his own.
In later years he would be the driving force behind the band Ricochet, for almost a decade. His expertise in management, promotion, writing, production, and musical talents made him a reputable name in the industry early on. In the early 90’s he gained legal representation under prominent entertainment industry attorney David P. Rudich (clients include: Michael Jackson, Pamela Anderson, Motley Crue, Beastie Boys). Other band credits include: Kid Wicked, Blind Viper and more. These were the early years of record label solicitation and courting. Although often the bridesmaid but not the bride thru any of his many collaborations he pressed on to continue writing and recording.
Music talents include: lead and rhythm guitar ( and most things with strings), lead and backing vocals, harmonicas, samplers and most noise makers. His writing abilities and recording experience help to round out his innate talents and abilities. His background in technology is definitely a plus in the studio.
Eric has been performing in 2 nationally touring tribute bands since the year 2000. “Breakdown” The Ultimate Tribute to Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, also “AstroCreep2000” the longest running Rob/White Zombie Tribute . His vast and extensive touring over the last 31 years has made it possible for Eric to know and be proficient in the all areas of booking and event management.
